Summary:
Reporting to Talent Brand & Communications Manager, the Brand Strategist will play a key role in supporting the development and promotion of our employer brand, while also contributing to internal communications that strengthen employee engagement and company culture. This position will also collaborate closely with Human Resources, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure our brand story is clear, authentic, and consistently communicated across internal and external channels.
Responsibilities:
Brand Development:
· Assist in the development and execution of employer brand initiatives aligned with company values and culture.
· Work with internal teams to maintain a consistent brand voice across talent acquisition and company communications.
Storytelling and Content Creation:
· Help create engaging content, including social media posts, blogs, and internal communications.
· Support in developing visual and written materials to highlight employee experiences, company culture, and career opportunities.
Social Media Engagement:
· Drive the company's presence on social media platforms, developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent.
· Develop and build content strategy and engaging campaigns with manager.
· Monitor trends and participate in relevant conversations to enhance the company's visibility and appeal to potential candidates.
Candidate Experience Enhancement:
· Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
· Develop and implement strategies to enhance the onboarding experience and promote long-term employee engagement.
Employer Brand Metrics and Analysis:
· Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the success of employer branding initiatives.
· Analyze data and feedback to refine and optimize the employer brand strategy continuously.
Internal Communications:
· Support internal communication strategies that align with company goals and culture.
· Assist in drafting newsletters, intranet posts, and employee spotlights.
· Help coordinate internal messaging and events that foster a positive workplace culture.
· Provide ongoing support in responding to internal communications requests
Competencies:
The Brand Strategist will be one who possess these competencies are well-equipped to create and promote a compelling employer brand that attracts, engages, and retains top talent.
· Deep understanding of employer branding and internal communications principles.
· Willingness to learn and contribute to the development and implementation of brand initiatives.
· Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
· Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
· Interest in creating content across various mediums, such as blogs, social posts, and videos.
· Eagerness to analyze feedback and support improvements in branding and communications efforts.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Awareness of the candidate journey and a desire to improve candidate and employee experiences.
· Openness to incorporating diversity and inclusion into communications and branding efforts.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· 4-8 years experience in related field
· Occasional Travel as needed <10%

Additional Requirements (Preferred but not required):
· Additional branding, marketing, or human resources certifications.
· Experience in using data analytics and market research to inform branding strategies.
· Familiarity with employer branding tools and technologies such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
