Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $140,000 - $210,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 20% Bonus Target.
Employment Logistics:
The Contracts Management Senior Consultant, RSP Contracts & Business Economics serves as the business owner for OnTrac’s Regional Service Provider contract strategy, carrier economics, and commercial negotiations. This role develops pricing frameworks, negotiation strategies, cost models, and contractual structures that support network growth, carrier sustainability, service quality, and financial performance. The position partners closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Carrier Relations, Procurement, and Sales to optimize the economic performance of the Last Mile network.

The Must-Haves:
10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Expert understanding of industry principles and terminology
Knowledge of standard office software and technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism

Your Mission in Motion:
A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
RSP contracts & commercial negotiations: Lead RSP contract development, renewals, bids, and renegotiations, while drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor agreements, customer contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and licensing arrangements.
Carrier pricing & business economics: Develop carrier pricing strategies, negotiation frameworks, cost models, forecasts, and should-cost analyses that support network growth, carrier sustainability, and financial performance.
Cost optimization & financial governance: Drive Driver CPP and network cost optimization initiatives while overseeing settlement governance and financial controls.
Launch, network change & peak support: Provide commercial support for facility launches, network changes, and peak planning to ensure appropriate carrier economics and contractual readiness.
Executive reporting & strategic recommendations: Deliver executive reporting and recommendations related to carrier economics, contract performance, and Last Mile network financial performance.
Cross-functional contract alignment: Partner with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Carrier Relations to align contract terms and commercial structures with business needs.
Contract compliance & risk mitigation: Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies; identify and mitigate contractual risks; provide clear guidance to stakeholders; and proactively address performance and compliance issues.
Contract lifecycle, standards & audit support: Maintain a centralized contract repository, manage contract lifecycle processes, develop standard templates, playbooks, and best practices, and support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal contract reporting.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
