Employment Logistics:
The Director, Pick Up Programs reports to the Vice President of Driver Strategy and will oversee a team implementing a strategic plan to expand and revolutionize OnTrac’s Pick Up Operations, widely considered to be the growth engine for the company. The objective is to scale pickups for Small and Medium Business, enterprise level Ship from Store, and multiple marketplace channels (AFN, Temu, Tik Tok etc.), building a culture of continuous Improvement, while delivering superior and sustainable cost and quality performance. The primary area of emphasis is to match customers/sellers to OnTrac locations, building out First, Middle, and Last Mile capabilities to effectively scale the business in a cost effective way. This role requires development of performance enhancement metrics and organizational capabilities, as well as the identification and formalization of best practices and standard work. This leader must have an innovative mindset, and ability to dive deep, looking around corners into yet to develop capabilities in the OnTrac ecosystem. We seek a visionary to build pickup specific technology and develop analytics that articulate business performance to the executive team clearly and concisely. The role represents an exciting, entrepreneurial opportunity to broadly challenge current assumptions, and design new processes that will completely change how we operate today. A focus on process optimization, asset utilization, and service delivery will ensure this leader enables OnTrac to reach its growth objectives as this leader embarks on creating organization structures from the ground up, and expands cross functional partnership with pricing, cx-quality, supply chain, linehaul, operations and marketing teams.

The Must-Haves:
- 2+ years executive leadership in a Centralized Support Organization for a Last Mile Delivery business 50 million+ parcels annually via third party delivery service providers
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience working with software operations/engineering/Last Mile teams throughout the product lifecycle, including definition of Minimum Lovable Product and Delivery Milestones
- Bachelor’s Degree Required. Master’s Degree or Higher Preferred

- Lead and scale OnTrac’s Pick Up channel—driving strategy, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration (First, Middle, Last Mile, Sales, Marketing, CX, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, standard work, and process optimization across the business
- Build and inspire a high-performing team while influencing leadership decisions with data-driven insights

- Proven change agent with strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
- Deep industry knowledge of Last/Middle Mile logistics, rate structures, and market trends
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel 50 % +
