Location:
REMOTE
This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
Compensation:
The expected starting base pay range for this position is $67,200 to $84,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $67,200 to 100,800.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Employment Logistics:
The Logistics Settlement Validation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of transportation settlement processes across the organization. This role serves as a critical control point within the logistics and financial workflow by validating shipment records, auditing invoices, confirming rate accuracy, and resolving discrepancies that impact carrier payments and transportation spend.

The Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight audit & payment, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with transportation rate structures, billing processes, and carrier interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Mission in Motion:
A summary of the key responsibilities for this role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business and operational needs.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies and data integrity issues, determining root causes and corrective actions
- Act as a key control point in the settlement process, resolving issues upstream to protect accuracy and cost outcomes
- Partner with carriers, third-party providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment on rates and processes
- Analyze trends and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Oversee offshore support, reviewing outputs for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality and service standards
- Maintain SOPs, support audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on discrepancies, risks, and resolution status

- You can effectively present information and respond to questions.
