Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $67,200 - $84,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $67,200 - $100,800. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics:

The Pricing Analyst provides analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, competitor activity, and customer behavior to support pricing decisions across geographies, market segments, products, and sales strategies. This role helps optimize profitability and market competitiveness by maintaining pricing data, analyzing trends, and producing clear reporting that supports leadership decision-making and customer-specific pricing strategies.

The Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to maintain professionalism
• Understanding of industry and pricing principles and terminology

Your Mission in Motion:

• Market research & pricing insights: Conduct market research, assess data, and develop insights into market trends and pricing strategies.
• Pricing database & historical analysis: Maintain a database of historical pricing data to monitor pricing effectiveness and guide future pricing decisions.
• Tools, reporting & pricing communication: Coordinate tools, reports, and communications to ensure accurate pricing information that responds to market changes.
• Profitability & competitiveness: Optimize profitability and market competitiveness across the portfolio by evaluating pricing opportunities and risks.
• Competitive, customer & cost analysis: Analyze competitor rates, customer behavior, and operational cost structures to support data-driven pricing decisions.
• Dashboards & leadership insights: Create dashboards and reports that distill complex pricing trends into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
• Pricing recommendations: Recommend rate adjustments, discount structures, and customer-specific pricing strategies.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations. 

Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each hire to ensure fair and competitive pay.
