Employment Logistics:
The Senior Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist is responsible for managing and administering all employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, workers’ compensation, military, parental, and company-specific leaves. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing exceptional support to employees, managers, and HR partners throughout the leave process. The Senior LOA Specialist plays a key role in risk mitigation, vendor coordination, and continuous process improvement.

The Must-Haves:
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
● 4+ years of experience managing leave of absence programs or related HR functions
● Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant leave laws and regulations
● Experience with HRIS and leave management systems
● Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Your Mission in Motion:
● Administer and oversee all employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
● Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave eligibility, process, and return-to-work planning
● Provide coaching and guidance to managers and HR partners on leave-related issues and accommodations
● Partner with legal and compliance teams to interpret and implement new leave laws and conduct audits to minimize risk
● Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with payroll, benefits, and HR operations to ensure accurate pay and benefits continuation
● Develop and maintain LOA policies, deliver training, and generate reports on leave trends, utilization, and costs
