Employment Logistics:

The Senior Manager, Driver Strategy (Under the Roof) leads regional and network-wide transformation of branch sortation and containerization. This role owns both the “Think/Innovate” (design, standard work, performance tools) and “Teach/Deliver” (field execution, adoption, sustainability) phases of Under the Roof (UtR) initiatives. You will standardize branch sortation design, align Sort‑Dispatch‑Delivery workflows with product and technology teams, and partner with field operations to reduce in‑branch driver dwell time, improve driver turnaround/experience, and strengthen on‑time performance—while lowering Opex for sort and delivery. Operating as the single point of contact for your region, you’ll coordinate cross‑functional execution (Engineering, Quality, Finance, Labor Planning, Legal, LMO), manage risks and dependencies, build and maintain rigorous project documentation and governance, and provide clear executive updates on status, issues, and changes. Success looks like codified best practices, measurable KPI gains, and durable adoption of standardized UtR processes across branches.

Unpacking the Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and life outside of work.

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance; HSA and FSA options
  • Life and Disability coverage (basic and voluntary)
  • Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, Identity & Fraud Protection, Auto & Home, and Pet Insurance
  • Competitive benefits and 401(k) with company match
  • Referral Bonus Program - Up to $500 per referral!
  • Paid Time Off including Holiday pay
  • Employee Assistance Program & a Safe and clean work environment

The Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master’s preferred
  • 8–10+ years of program/project management in last‑mile logistics or supply chain transformation, owning strategy through end‑to‑end delivery
  • 5+ years implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics; hands-on with Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Kaizen
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL; experience working cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams
  • Demonstrated success managing large‑scale, high‑impact programs in dynamic, ambiguous environments
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Your Mission in Motion:

  • Lead UtR containerization and sortation design: Standardize branch sortation design and coordinate cross‑functional execution to improve driver turnaround and experience across assigned region(s).
  • Own KPI delivery and outcomes: Define, track, and deliver regional and network KPIs (cost, quality, on‑time performance, driver experience), including 25–50% reductions in in‑branch driver time.
  • Plan and align across functions: Partner with Engineering, Labor Planning, Finance, Quality, Legal, and LMO to align Sort‑Dispatch‑Delivery workflows, field execution, and driver‑focused deliverables.
  • Govern risk, documentation, and cadence: Maintain comprehensive project documentation; proactively manage risks, actions, and owners; run readiness and cadence forums to protect timelines.
  • Communicate and escalate effectively: Provide clear daily/weekly executive updates on status, risks, and changes; escalate issues for rapid resolution.
  • Guide investment decisions: Produce cost/benefit analyses to inform departmental strategy and prioritization.

Paving your way to your success:

  • You influence across levels—from field leaders to executives—connecting engineering, operators, and business audiences with clear, actionable communication.
  • You lead change credibly, building trust, aligning stakeholders, and sustaining adoption through structured execution and measurable results.
  • You combine strong business and technical acumen with disciplined prioritization, operating with ownership and minimal direction.
  • You are a driver of results, balancing cost, quality, and on‑time delivery while reducing in‑branch dwell time and operational friction.
  • You embody accountability and continuous improvement—meeting commitments, surfacing risks early, and codifying best practices into standard work.
