The Must-Haves:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience leading large, complex programs from kickoff through go-live and stabilization
  • Proven ability to align and drive execution across Engineering, Operations, Real Estate, IT, Finance, and vendors
  • Strong understanding of parcel sortation and distribution operations, balancing throughput, cost, and scalability during launch
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, dependencies, and critical path schedules
  • Strong risk identification and mitigation capability; able to remove blockers with urgency and pragmatism
  • Ability and willingness to travel ~50%

Your Mission in Motion:

  • Launch leadership & escalation: Lead all activities related to facility launches, acting as the single point of coordination and escalation across functions.
  • End-to-end launch readiness & gatekeeping: Own launch readiness from pre‑design and permitting through go‑live and post‑launch stabilization, serving as the readiness gatekeeper by identifying gaps, assessing risks, and escalating when changes are not prepared for go‑live.
  • Cross-functional change planning: Direct cross‑functional change planning spanning systems, processes, and operating model impacts.
  • Integrated planning, objectives & critical path: Ensure launch objectives, timelines, and dependencies are clearly defined, tracked, and executed across all workstreams; develop and manage integrated program plans, timelines, and critical path schedules incorporating construction milestones, equipment installation, systems readiness, staffing, and operational ramp‑up.
  • Workstream progress tracking: Track progress across construction, tenant improvements, permitting, engineering install, IT systems, and operational readiness, ensuring alignment to launch milestones.
  • Risk mitigation + scope/cost/delay impact management: Develop mitigation plans and drive resolution, escalating to senior leadership when risks threaten launch outcomes; track scope changes, delays, and cost impacts owned by partner teams and ensure impacts are clearly communicated.
  • Go-live readiness criteria: Define and track go‑live readiness criteria, including systems readiness, equipment availability, staffing, training, safety, and operational performance.
  • Go-live execution, stabilization & handoff: Support go‑live execution and remain embedded for approximately 4 weeks post‑launch to support stabilization and learning‑curve ramp‑up; oversee handoff to Operations after sustained volume and performance targets are achieved.
  • KPIs, executive reporting & continuous improvement: Establish, track, and report KPIs related to site readiness, capital milestones, safety, launch performance, and stabilization progress; prepare and deliver executive‑level updates, dashboards, and go/no‑go readiness assessments; conduct post‑launch assessments and drive continuous improvement of change management practices.

Paving your way to your success:

  • You drive clear, integrated launch plans that keep milestones, dependencies, and critical path items visible and moving across all workstreams.
  • You act as a strong readiness gatekeeper—spotting gaps early, building mitigation plans fast, and escalating decisively when risks threaten go-live.
  • You keep teams aligned by coordinating Engineering, Ops, Real Estate, IT, Finance, and vendors toward one outcome—launching on time, within scope, and with sustained performance.
  • You lead with operational judgment in parcel sortation/distribution, balancing throughput, cost, and scalability during ramp-up and stabilization.
  • You make data-driven decisions in time-sensitive, high-visibility moments and deliver exceptional communication across all levels, including executive-level updates, dashboards, KPIs, and go/no-go readiness assessments.
