Location: Remote (CST time zone preferred)
Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00/hour (DOE)
Employment Logistics:
The Workers’ Compensation Support II role is a vital part of the Risk Management team, ensuring timely and accurate handling of workers’ compensation claims. This position serves as a liaison between injured employees, facility management, insurers, TPAs, and medical providers to bring each claim to its best possible resolution. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster positive relationships while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a related field
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus for communication and document translation
Your Mission in Motion:
- Report workers’ compensation claims promptly to insurers, TPAs, and state jurisdictions in accordance with company and state requirements.
- Contact injured workers to confirm medical treatment, discuss incident details, and coordinate modified duty accommodations with facility management.
- Review medical status reports, prepare modified duty offers, and keep active file diaries to monitor claim progress until full-duty return.
- Input new claims into First Report Online for insurer transmission and OSHA recordkeeping, and follow up on medical appointments to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in claim review meetings with insurers and TPAs, provide updates to stakeholders, and deliver clear, respectful communication across all levels.
