OnTrac is hiring an Associate Software Developer in Louisville, KY!

Location:          1930 Bishop Lane, Suite 111, Louisville, KY 40218

                           (Combination of REMOTE and HYBRID ON-SITE work in Louisville, KY)

Pay:                   $84,000 to $126,000 / year depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule:          Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

                           (After-hours responsibilities for on-call support and troubleshooting may be required)

Employment Logistics:

The Associate Software Developer is responsible for the coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance of internal and external applications. As a junior team member, the associate developer works closely with senior members of the team to complete assigned development tasks, learn new technologies, and gain an understanding of enterprise coding standards.

The Must-Haves:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 1+ years equivalent work experience.

Your Mission in Motion:

Operational Management

  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to project and development specifications.
  • Monitor software performance of new and existing programs for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
  • Perform code reviews and software QA for other developers

Knowledge & Experience

  • Working technical knowledge of:
    • C#
    • .Net 8
    • PostgreSQL
    • TSQL
    • Angular
    • PHP (nice to have)
  • Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps a plus)
  • Hands on experience working in integrated development environments
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases and data structures.
  • Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
