Location: 701 Crossroads Blvd, Logan Township, NJ 08085

Salary: $84 -$126K annually

Shift: Wednesday to Saturday from 5:30am to 4:00pm

Employment Logistics: 

The Lead Maintenance Technician supports the safe and reliable operation of equipment and facilities by performing advanced preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing conveyors and sortation equipment. This role also serves as the shift-level technical lead, coordinating maintenance response during operations, mentoring technicians, and driving corrective actions that improve reliability and reduce downtime.

The Must-Haves:

  • 5–7 years of related maintenance experience
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance in warehouse, distribution, and logistics environments
  • Advanced knowledge of conveyors, sortation equipment, motors, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, and automated equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, prioritize multiple tasks, and make sound decisions during downtime events
  • Strong understanding of OSHA requirements (including lockout/tagout procedures)

Your Mission in Motion:

  • Advanced PM, inspections & component work: Perform advanced preventive maintenance on conveyors, sortation equipment, dock equipment, and facility systems; conduct facility/equipment inspections; repair/rebuild/align/replace components on conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, and automated equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, repair response & downtime coordination: Lead troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues; respond to maintenance service requests during operations and coordinate repair efforts to minimize downtime.
  • Reliability improvement & corrective actions: Investigate recurring equipment failures and support root-cause corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce repeat downtime.
  • Shift-level technical leadership: Provide day-to-day technical guidance and task coordination to maintenance technicians on shift, mentoring on best practices.
  • Safety & compliance leadership: Follow and reinforce all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA requirements while leading by example.
  • Documentation & parts/work order accuracy: Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, parts usage, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Vendor/contractor & project support: Support contractors, vendors, and improvement projects during on-site repairs/installs to ensure safe and effective execution.

  • You perform advanced preventive maintenance and inspections on conveyors, sortation, dock equipment, and facility systems, including repair/rebuild/align/replace of conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, and automated components.
  • You respond to maintenance requests during operations and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • You investigate recurring failures and support root-cause corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce repeat downtime.
  • You provide shift-level technical guidance, mentor technicians, support contractors/vendors and improvement projects, and maintain logs, work orders, parts usage, and documentation accurately and on time.
