Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $156,000 - $234,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
This position may also be eligible forbonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 25% Bonus Target.
Employment Logistics:
The Director of Partner Acquisition and Enablement leads the identification, onboarding, and long-term success of independent delivery partners (RSPs) across the network. This is an operations-first leadership role designed for someone with deep experience working directly in last-mile facilities and alongside contractor-owned delivery businesses.
This role will lead the RSP acquisition and onboarding lifecycle while partnering closely with Operations and Negotiations to ensure new providers are set up for sustainable success from day one. Success will be measured by operational readiness, service performance, and retention, not just speed to launch.

The Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Logistics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus, not required)
- At least 12 years of experience in last-mile operations, logistics, contractor management, or delivery network leadership (with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- 5+ years of people leadership experience managing regional or multi-site teams
- Significant experience working directly in or with last-mile facilities and independent delivery contractors
- Strong operational credibility and comfort operating in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) to facilities, markets, and RSP locations
Your Mission in Motion:
A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
- RSP recruitment strategy & acquisition: Lead the strategy to identify, assess, and onboard high-quality Regional Service Providers with a strong operational foundation.
- Field-based recruiting & engagement: Personally engage prospective RSP owners through site visits, facility walkthroughs, and in-market meetings.
- Operator evaluation & selection alignment: Evaluate candidates based on operating capability, leadership presence, safety mindset, and ability to manage last-mile complexity; partner with Operations and Negotiations to align selection with facility needs, volume profiles, and service expectations.
- Driver Operations representation: Represent Driver Operations in contractor-facing conversations, bringing credibility through firsthand operational experience.
- Onboarding ownership & operational readiness: Oversee end-to-end onboarding to ensure new RSPs are prepared to operate effectively from launch; ensure onboarding reflects daily last-mile realities (not only contractual/administrative requirements).
- Early risk identification & stabilization: Identify early operational risks post-launch and intervene quickly to stabilize performance and reduce early attrition.
- Performance, retention & contractor experience: Serve as senior escalation/support during critical early lifecycle stages; collaborate with Operations leaders on systemic challenges impacting performance, compliance, and engagement; identify common pain points and recommend improvements; promote consistent operating expectations while allowing flexibility for local market realities.
- Team leadership & regional support: Lead and mentor a regional RSP recruiting/onboarding team with an emphasis on field engagement and operational partnership; set expectations around contractor experience, launch quality, and readiness; coach and develop the team to be trusted partners to RSPs and Operations.
- Cross-functional communication & leadership updates: Provide clear, experience-based updates to LMO Leadership and the COO on RSP health, risks, onboarding readiness, and retention trends; bring the voice of the field into leadership discussions; stay connected to industry practices and contractor trends in last-mile logistics.

- You demonstrate strong operational judgment and problem solving, quickly identifying risks and intervening effectively with a solutions-oriented, situationally aware approach.
- You lead with presence, operating confidently in frontline and senior-level settings and staying comfortable spending significant time in facilities and markets.
- You drive structured execution without over-engineering, defining clear, scalable, operator-friendly processes and expectations while staying focused on execution quality and outcomes.

The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
